The first batch of newly qualified Mini Soccer Referee’s completed their assessments this week at Lydiard Park Academy School. Under the tuition of Kevin Small & Graham Barnes (Wilts FA), 24 volunteers undertook the course as part of the NWYFL requirement to have qualified referee’s operating at all U7 & U8 age groups. Having attended the 1st workshop back in October, the participants were asked to officiate 3 matches before coming back in November to complete the multiple choice test.
The NWYFL will be looking to offer another free of charge Mini Soccer Referee course in the near future.
