Thank you to everyone who made donations during 2019 for the NWYFL annual charity, SMASH Youth Project. In total, £750 was raised from donations at events throughout the year, including the Mini Soccer Finals, League Cup Semi-Finals and Finals, as well as the annual Presentation Day.
Helen Fisher, SMASH Managing Director, passed on her thanks: “We are looking at ways to capture a child’s journey with us and enable them to keep something at the end – this is an important element of the journey so child can see how far they have come and it contributes to their self esteem and confidence. It also plays into the sustainability of a child’s improvement they see when they are with us – it allows them to have a tangible plan for them to continue when our intervention has completed. This money will go directly into funding this, your support will enable us to buy journals and other materials.”
