Congratulations to all the players and coaches who took part in the U8 Trophy Event at Foundation Park on 6th Feb. Whilst we couldn’t provide the sunny day that we’d all hoped for, the standard of play was high, great sportsmanship was demonstrated and there were lots of smiling faces.

Thanks to all players, coaches and parents for coming along. Also, thank you to Foundation Park for providing an excellent facility (& hot chocolate!), the match officials, volunteers and committee members who all made the day possible.

Trophy events are designed to be short-term experiences helping children learn about winning and losing in an appropriate environment. It was great to see the encouragement shown to the players, regardless of the result on the pitch.
